one bowl of rice (I highly recommend that you use left over rice)
one piece of baby carrot finely diced
small amount of onions finely diced
salt (to taste)
black pepper (to taste)
ketchup
egg (1 or 2)
* you can add other ingredients such as green-peas, chicken or sausage if you like.
1) Heat a pan with oil and sauté carrots and onions until they are cooked. Season with salt and black pepper. 2) Add rice to the pan and cook together and season with salt and black pepper. 3) Add ketchup to the pan and combine together. 4) Heat another pan with oil and add beaten egg (1 or 2, as how you like). 5) Add the ketchup rice on the egg when egg is cooked and flip on a dish. 6) Garnish with ketchup design! (optional) It is very easy and kids will love it; adults love it too! If you don't have any left over rice, you can cook rice but I think the left over rice absorbs ketchup better and does not become soggy. We use left over rice for fried rice too. Always tastes better that way some reason.
